This Zegna Baruffa 2/30 cashwool yarn is premium quality Italian 100% superfine merino.
It has been stored in a barn for years and has been bumped around a bit so there are signs of this which you can see in the photos.
I used this yarn for weaving and can testify to it being an absolutely beautiful yarn to work with, very soft with a silky weight to it.
I would advise against it being used as a warp yarn due to its age and this is reflected in the price, however it makes a brilliant weft yarn and can be used as a single, or, as I did, doubled up to make a chunkier yarn.
The following weights do not include the cardboard cones which weigh approximately 35g each:
