The workshop will teach you the basic principles and terminology of weaving in the round, and you will create a small woven piece using an embroidery hoop as a loom.

We will cover the following:

  • How to pick the best yarns for weaving
  • How to dress the loom (prepare the loom for weaving)

This workshop is suitable for complete beginners and those that have a little weaving experience and would like to try weaving on a less conventional 'loom'.

You will have the opportunity to buy a hoop and yarn at the the end of the workshop.
